Our spring retreat offers a unique opportunity to refine your craft in a supportive, holistic environment. This experience is designed to elevate your music from both a technical and creative standpoint while also equipping you with tools for building a sustainable career. We understand that life can get busy, so our retreat provides a much-needed space to reconnect with the core of why you create music, allowing you to focus on your artistry without distractions.
In addition to honing your musical skills, you’ll gain valuable insights into the psychological and business aspects of a music career. Throughout the retreat, you’ll have the chance to write, reflect, and collaborate with other artists, work closely with legendary musicians, and gain wisdom from two former music industry executives.
This retreat will take place at the iconic Pachyderm Studios in Eastern Minnesota—a place where iconic albums like Nirvana’s In Utero and PJ Harvey’s Rid of Me were created. The studio offers state-of-the-art gear, rich musical history, and immediate access to seven acres of serene, old-growth forest, providing the perfect setting to inspire creativity.
Joining us will be celebrated songwriter and producer Steve Gunn, and for the first time, this will be an intimate retreat with only six spots available, ensuring personal attention and ample studio time for every participant.
The retreat includes group conversations, classes, and one-on-one sessions with Steve, as well as opportunities to write, collaborate, jam, and reflect. You’ll also have intentional downtime to rest and recharge, along with daily art and movement workshops.
